Tyler M. Nixon, DO
Board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine, Dr. Nixon brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our practice. Dr. Nixon was born and raised right here in Davis County and is excited to be serving his community with weight and metabolic care.
He enjoys helping patients over the long-term improve their energy, health, and vitality.
Treating obesity as a chronic disease is one of Dr. Nixon’s passions, along with managing chronic diseases and complicated metabolic disorders. Dr. Nixon graduated from University of Oklahoma with his undergraduate degree before attending Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California for his MD and Madigan Army Medical Center in Washington for his Internal Medicine Residency.
Outside of Medical Weight Loss, Dr. Nixon enjoys traveling with his wife and four children. He’s an avid fly-fisherman and one of his favorite hobbies is taking care of his salt water aquarium.
