Meet our Health Coach & Mentor, Natalie + SMART Goals

Do you know where you want to be with your health goals this new year? Without goals, we lack a sense of direction and focus. Here are some quick and easy steps on how you can use goal setting as a tool to be more successful in building new health habits!

Step 1: Find your purpose or why you are making a change.
Step 2: Start by coming up with small, easily achievable goals for building healthy habits. Examples: drink more water instead of sugary drinks, include vegetables in every meal, avoid screen time one day a week, get up and move every half hour, etc.
Step 3: Once you have established a habit of setting and achieving those smaller goals, you will be in a better mindset to aim for bigger goals.
Step 4: Set a deadline for when you would like to achieve your long-term goals. Deadlines give us incentive to make it a priority every day.
Step 5: Create SMART goals, by being specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and timely.

If you need some help getting started with your SMART goals, or looking for some extra support and accountability, schedule a visit with our health coach and mentor, Natalie.
